The Flex Audio 16/2 Outdoor Speaker Cable is a professional-grade, oxygen-free copper speaker cable built for permanent external installations where weatherproofing is essential.
Unlike standard indoor speaker cable, this external-grade variant features a UV-resistant black polyethylene (PE) outer sheath rated to ISO4892-3, making it well suited to garden audio, outdoor entertainment areas, and any installation where the cable is exposed to the elements.
Available in 20m, 50m, and 100m reels to suit single speaker runs through to larger whole-garden or commercial outdoor projects.
- Oxygen-Free Copper Conductors: 99.9999% pure OFC construction (41/0.2 stranding) for minimal signal loss and excellent audio clarity over long runs.
- UV-Resistant External PE Sheath: Weather-resistant polyethylene outer jacket rated to ISO4892-3 — designed to withstand prolonged outdoor exposure without degrading.
- LSZH Core Insulation: Low Smoke Zero Halogen insulation on each conductor for safe routing through walls, conduit, or other enclosed spaces.
- 16AWG Rating: Suitable for most home cinema and Hi-Fi outdoor speaker runs, with a DC resistance of less than 12.6 Ω/km.
- Wide Temperature Range: Rated from -20°C to 80°C and tested to 3000V, making it reliable in both harsh winters and warm summers.
